MAAHIRA did not take know/ care about her birthday until recently..she has seen her school friends cutting the birthday cake and every since Preeti mam told her that the next birthday in class is hers, Maahira has been looking forward to her birthday with lot of excitement! She would ask me every single day for two weeks - mumma,mera pika birthday kab aayega!? :) Her third birthday co-incided closely with raksha bandhan.. so we all decided to meet up in Bangalore and celebrate her birthday together. However, like everything else lately, even this did not go as per plan. Mom tested covid positive and then dad and monu also fell sick. So we decided to nice into a resort (mohit, vishaka and us) , so monu could get the much needed rest, they could recover faster and we could stay safe. We checked into palm meadows resort in Bangalore. A very beautiful calm place with lots of greenery and good food! It did make up to some extent for not being able to celebrate with everybody together.....
