My Doll is growing up fast!

Maahira started going to the big school with bhaiya in Apr 2023. While there were initial settling issues, she has been very brave in going to the big school in the big bus, when she is all of 3.5 years in age! MY darling jaadu baby has been taking care of his sister adorably.. he even ensures he goes to see her in the class during the snack break, even though that means he would need to skip his play time! ( maahira  looks forward to seeing him during the snack break) So proud to be their mom! Love them always and forever !

Sixth Element Friends

Maahira loved everything about her pre school sixth element! She was extremely attached to her Preeti Mam.. every morning, first thing she would ask , even before her eyes were fully open, was if she had to go to school that day.. she would get very upset and sad if it was a school holiday (so so contradictory to all the sad stories we have heard about kids and school) Below is a Pic of her with her sixth element friends.. shaanvi, aritra, nek and raghav..

The love for dressing up!

Maahira had a show and tell on insects at her pre school. They were asked to bring a toy of any insect or a drawing or a cut out and speak a few words on it Madam being madam with her love for dressing up, insisted that she wants to dress up as an insect and not carry some silly toy! We tried explaining that nobody else in class was going to be dressed up.. but that did not bother her! So here she is, hopefully looking like the intended Ant!

Maahira's Best Friend

Maahira calls her daddu as her best friend.. which I find extremely heart warming. Wish I had this maturity and understanding when mom was around. This acceptance of how precious grand parents are and how they are only here to give love..Losing her has been my biggest loss. Each day, after losing her, I only hope and try to emulate her , even if it's just to a small extent.  Seeing maahira so attached to papa makes my heart go full with happiness..

Gold earrings on Akshaya Tritiya 2023

First step towards accessories! We finally got her ears pierced in March 2023 .. coincidentally on Parmi's first birthday! :) The fascination for pink earrings made the job easy for us :) On auspicious day of Akshay Tritya, we moved her to her very first gold earnings :)

Little Fashionista!

 One of my apprehensions about being a girl's mother is how will I ensure she does not turn out to be a  non-fashionable person that I am and be a more fashionable, love to dress up kind of girl.. To begin with, am just trying to get her clothes that are different from the usual and stylish! She rocks in each one of them! Muah!
